Luke’s verse novel, CADAVER DOG (UQP) won the 2019 Arts QLD Thomas Shapcott Poetry Prize, was Highly Commended in the Anne Elder Award and short-listed for the Mary Gilmore Award and the ALS Gold Medal.

His story, The Tenements was short-listed in the 2022 Peter Carey Short Story Award.

He has been published in The Australian, Overland Magazine, Verity La, Stilts Journal, Mascara Literary Review & Inside the Verse Novel: Writers on Writing.

He lives in Toowoomba, QLD.
